The accurate measurement of Chlorine; Free, Total or Chlorine Dioxide is essential to the successful operation of municipal and industrial water treatment systems that rely on Chlorine for disinfectant purposes. Chlorine helps eliminate algae, bacteria, viruses and other contamination in the treatment of both drinking municipal water and wastewater. Chlorine is also a common bleaching agent in paper production and disinfectant in food / beverage plants, as well as providing oxidation control in chemical processing and other industrial operations.
ECD’s FCA-22, TCA-22 and CDA-22 Chlorine Analyzers are designed to measure Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine and Chlorine Dioxide (respectively) in wide range of municipal and industrial water treatment applications. These chlorine analyzers are designed to monitor chlorine in drinking water, rinse water, cooling water and other fresh water samples from 0.05 to 20.0 ppm Cl2, 5 to 9 pH and at temperatures from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C) and sample flow rates from 38 to 300 L/hr (10 to 80 gal/hr).
ECD’s Chlorine Analyzers Model FCA-22, TCA-22 and CDA-22 are panel mounted systems that use a constant head flow controller to optimize the flow past the chlorine sensor. The Flow controller, Chlorine sensor , pH sensor and analyzer/controller are mounted on a PVC panel. Installation is complete after connecting the sample and drain lines, power and outputs. The low-maintenance FCA-22 and CDA-22 can run for up to one year between electrolyte / membrane changes. Calibration of the FCA-22, TCA-22 and CDA-22 is accomplished with DPD comparison.
ECD also manufactures a complete line of chlorine electrodes, chlorine sensors, chlorine meters, chlorine controllers, chlorine analyzers and chlorine transmitters.
